They feature a low-cost magnetic balance type/current output type, with a mounting structure that includes connectors, a primary conductor that is through-type, a rated current of 180A, and a power supply voltage of ±15V. The Hall current detector measures current non-contact by combining a magnetic core and a magnetic sensor (Hall element) that generates magnetic flux proportional to the current, resulting in no voltage drop for measurement, excellent insulation, and the ability to measure alternating current, direct current, and mixed currents, making it an ideal device. The magnetic flux generated proportional to the current If is concentrated by the iron core and passes through the Hall element inserted in the gap, outputting a voltage according to the Hall effect described by the formula Vh = k ・ Ic ・ B.
